30hop Restaurant & Bar in Ankeny, IA is looking for Servers to join our front of house team.

If you enjoy working with people, staying active, and being part of a team in a busy restaurant environment, this could be a great fit. Our Servers help create a welcoming experience for Guests from the moment they arrive through the end of their visit.

Previous serving experience is strongly preferred, and we’re looking for dependable team members who communicate well, stay organized, and are ready to contribute during busy shifts.

30hop is a full-service American restaurant and bar with locations across Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska. We’re known for great food, craft beer, and a fun, welcoming atmosphere. Our teams are at the heart of what we do and help create a great experience for our Guests every day.

Fully trained Servers earn $4.35 per hour plus tips, with tip payouts distributed the following morning.

Schedule:

• Full-time and part-time opportunities available
• 4-8 hour shifts
• Weekend availability needed for AM or PM shifts

What You’ll Do

• Greeting Guests and providing attentive service throughout their visit
• Answering questions and helping Guests make food and beverage selections
• Entering orders accurately and communicating with kitchen and bar team members
• Serving food and beverages in a timely manner
• Checking in with Guests and responding professionally to questions or concerns
• Processing payments accurately
• Maintaining clean, organized dining and service areas
• Resetting tables and completing assigned side work
• Restocking supplies and assisting with opening and closing responsibilities
• Following established food safety and sanitation practices
• Supporting other team members to keep service moving during high-volume periods
• Completing other duties as needed

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Previous serving experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to stay organized and manage multiple priorities in a fast paced restaurant environment
• Ability to stand for extended periods and carry trays of food and beverages
• Must obtain Iowa Program for Alcohol Compliance Training (I-PACT) certification within 30 days of hire
