30hop Restaurant in Cedar Rapids, IA is looking for full & part-time experienced Servers to join our team!

As a Server, you’ll be at the heart of the Guest experience, creating a great first impression, ensuring orders are accurate, and providing friendly, attentive service throughout each visit.

30hop is a Midwest-based, full-service American bar and kitchen with locations across Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska. Established in Iowa, we’ve steadily expanded into multiple states, with plans to grow to 30 premier locations over the next 10 years. Each new location allows us to share our passion for hospitality while offering our team fresh opportunities to grow, learn, and advance their careers.

Compensation for fully trained Servers starts at $4.35/hour plus tips, with tip payouts distributed nightly.

Schedule: Full & part-time. Shifts are anywhere from 4-8 hours depending on your availability. Evening shifts available daily. Daytime shifts available on Sundays.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests and guide them through the dining experience
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately using the POS system
  • Deliver food and drinks promptly while maintaining service standards
  • Make menu recommendations and answer guest questions
  • Monitor guest satisfaction and respond quickly to guest needs
  • Resolve guest concerns professionally and escalate issues when needed
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout dining areas
  • Reset and prepare tables efficiently between guests
  • Process payments and complete transactions accurately
  • Complete opening, closing, stocking, and sidework duties
  • Follow sanitation, food safety, and health standards
  • Support fellow FOH and BOH team members during busy shifts
  • Assist with additional operational tasks as assigned

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Previous serving or hospitality experience preferred
  • Strong communication and guest service skills
  • Comfortable working in a high volume, fast paced environment
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized during busy shifts
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices is a plus
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and carry food or beverage trays
