30hop Restaurant & Bar in Merriam, KS is looking for Cooks to join our back-of-house team.

Our kitchen team keeps things moving, from preparing ingredients before service to cooking menu items during busy shifts. We’re looking for team members who can stay organized, communicate with others, and take pride in putting out consistent, quality food.

30hop is a full-service American restaurant and bar with locations across Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska. We’re known for great food, craft beer, and a fun, welcoming atmosphere. Our teams are at the heart of what we do and help create a great experience for our Guests every day.

Pay

$15 - $22 per hour based on experience.

Schedule & Availability

• Full-time and part-time positions available
• Weekend availability is required
• Scheduling is based on restaurant needs and candidate availability

What You’ll Do

• Prepare ingredients, sauces, and other items needed for service
• Set up and stock your station before and during shifts
• Cook menu items according to recipes and restaurant standards
• Work with grills, fryers, sauté stations, broilers, and other kitchen equipment
• Maintain consistent food quality and preparation standards
• Follow proper food handling, labeling, storage, and sanitation procedures
• Keep stations and shared kitchen areas clean and organized
• Complete assigned prep, cleaning, stocking, and inventory tasks
• Communicate with kitchen leadership and teammates throughout service
• Support prep or line responsibilities based on the needs of the kitchen
• Complete other duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Previous restaurant kitchen, prep cook, or line cook experience is preferred but not required
• Ability to work efficiently during high-volume periods
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Reliable, organized, and attentive to detail
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to stand and move throughout the kitchen for extended periods
• Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 40 pounds
