30hop Restaurant & Bar in Cedar Rapids, IA is hiring Food Runners to join our front of house team.

We’re looking for dependable, team oriented people who enjoy staying active and working in a fast paced restaurant environment. Whether you have restaurant experience or are looking for your first restaurant job, you’ll be part of a team that works together to deliver food quickly, accurately, and keep service running smoothly.

30hop is a full-service American restaurant and bar with locations across Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska. We’re known for great food, craft beer, and a fun, welcoming atmosphere. Our teams are at the heart of what we do and help create a great experience for our Guests every day.

Fully trained Food Runners earn $8.10 per hour plus tips, with tip payouts distributed the following morning.

Schedule:

• Full-time and part-time opportunities available
• 4-8 hour shifts
• Availability needed from 4:00 PM to close Monday through Friday and throughout the day on Saturdays and Sundays

What You’ll Do

• Deliver food to Guests promptly and accurately while maintaining presentation standards
• Verify food items and table numbers before leaving the kitchen
• Communicate with the kitchen and service teams to help ensure accurate and timely food delivery
• Respond to Guest requests and communicate missing items, concerns, or other needs to the appropriate team member
• Keep food pickup and service areas clean and organized
• Help clear and reset tables and maintain dining areas throughout service
• Monitor restroom cleanliness and other Guest-facing areas as needed
• Support Servers, Hosts, kitchen team members, and other team members during busy shifts
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and service standards
• Complete opening and closing duties as assigned
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to stay organized and manage multiple priorities in a fast paced restaurant environment
• Ability to stay active and work efficiently throughout the shift
• Attention to detail and ability to deliver orders accurately
• Ability to work as part of a team and help where needed
