30hop Restaurant & Bar is looking for an Assistant General Manager to join our leadership team in Cedar Rapids, IA.

In this role, you'll partner with the General Manager to help lead day-to-day restaurant operations, develop and coach team members, and create an outstanding experience for every Guest. We're looking for someone who enjoys being on the floor, leading by example, and helping build a positive, high-performing team.

Compensation starts at $58,000+ annually based on experience, with additional quarterly incentive bonus opportunities available.

Full-time staff Benefits: Available for all full-time employees who work 40 hours per week or more on average.

What You'll Do

• Leading by example and promoting accountability throughout the front-of-house team.
• Supporting fast, friendly, and attentive service during every shift
• Coaching, mentoring, and developing employees through regular feedback and recognition
• Assisting with recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, training, and retention efforts
• Leading pre-shift meetings and communicating daily priorities with the team
• Partnering with the General Manager and Chef to manage labor, inventory, ordering, and food and beverage costs
• Maintaining high standards for cleanliness, organization, safety, and overall operational execution
• Supporting scheduling based on staffing levels, business trends, and special events
• Completing cash handling, safe counts, and other operational reporting accurately
• Assisting with performance reviews, coaching conversations, and employee development plans
• Building relationships with Guests and resolving concerns professionally
• Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, team performance, and the overall Guest experience
• Attending weekly leadership meetings and supporting company initiatives

What We're Looking For

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Two or more years of restaurant management experience is preferred
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
• Experience in a high-volume, hospitality-focused environment is preferred
• A positive attitude with a hands-on leadership style
• An entrepreneurial mindset and desire to grow professionally
• The ability to obtain ServSafe certification within 30 days of employment
• The ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
